As the latest to join the team at On Line Recruitment and Labour Hire, we took some time to find out a little more about the new Business Development Manager, Lucas Winton.

Q: Tell us a little more about yourself

A: I grew up in Camden but have spent the last 10 years living in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Over the years I have spent many a holiday and spare weekend on the South Coast and made the move here permanently in November last year to settle in the Bay & Basin area. 

Q: What did you do before joining the On Line Recruitment and Labour Hire team? 

A: I was previously the HR Manager for a Retail Property and Construction company. I have extensive experience in generalist HR and started my career in office support and call centre recruitment and onsite management. 

Q: What is your role at On Line Recruitment and Labour Hire? 

A: I am the Business Development Manager, in summary this means that I work closely with existing clients plus work on developing new client relationships. 

Q: What attracted you to the role at On Line Recruitment and Labour Hire? 

A: I was ready for a new challenge specifically in the recruitment side. When this position came up not only did it provide all of this, but also allowed a move to the South Coast.  

Q: What’s the best thing about working at On Line Recruitment and Labour Hire? 

A: I am really enjoying being a part of the fast-paced, friendly team and a part of a company that has long standing and respected relationships with businesses on the South Coast and beyond. On Line Recruitment and Labour Hire is an ethical company that has a proven track record of providing excellent service and this aligns well to my personal values.

Q: What’s the strangest job you’ve ever recruited for? 

A: The strangest job I have ever recruited for is for voice over people, it makes for an interesting interview! 

Q: If you weren’t working at On Line Recruitment and Labour Hire, what’s your dream job? 

A: My dream job would be managing my own beach bar and cafe or, perhaps a garden centre as a little known fact about me is that I have an extremely green thumb. 

Q: What’s the best piece of advice you can give to candidates? 

A: It all begins with a great resume. A clear and current resume is really important, make sure you invest the time to ensure there are no mistakes.
