Our client is a leading design and manufacturing company who have been servicing the South Coast for over 25 years. They craft quality kitchens, pantries, vanities and joinery for both residential and commercial projects.
They are now seeking a general hand to contribute to the smooth operation of their factory and installation processes in Batemans Bay. This role is essential in ensuring that the production and installation teams have the support they need to deliver top-quality results to their customers.
As a General Hand, your role will include:
- Supporting production teams with various tasks, including handling materials, operating machinery (after training), and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Assisting skilled tradespeople with kitchen and cabinetry assembly, installation preparation, and any other tasks as required on-site
- Aiding in the installation of kitchens and cabinetry at client locations, ensuring timely and precise completion of projects
- Performing various general hand tasks such as inventory management, equipment maintenance, and any other duties as directed by supervisors
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Basic understanding of hand tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks and lifting
- Demonstrated ability to apply WHS to your workplace
- Reliability and your own transportation
