On Line Recruitment are looking for Plant Operators!
Our client is leading efforts in city revitalisation and concrete infrastructure, with works including kerb and gutter, footpaths, asphalt, stormwater drainage, road maintenance, and traffic control.
They are now seeking skilled Plant Operators to join their dedicated in the Illawarra region. This role provides an excellent chance to work on critical infrastructure projects while utilising your skills and experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
As a Plant Operator, your role will include:
- Undertaking general labouring duties relevant to the work area
- Safely operating plant and equipment, such as skid steers, excavators, and backhoes, to deliver high-quality construction and maintenance work
- Assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of plant and equipment to ensure tools and machinery remain in safe and serviceable condition
- Performing routine checks and basic maintenance of equipment under your control
- Supporting key tasks in kerb and gutter, footpath, asphalt, drainage, and road maintenance
- Completing other duties as required by the site supervisor
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant experience in civil labouring duties, with a strong advantage if you have experience in kerb and gutter, footpath, asphalt, stormwater drainage, or road maintenance
- The necessary licenses and tickets for operating plant equipment, such as excavators, skid steers, and backhoes
- The ability to safely operate minor plant and equipment used in construction and maintenance work
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A current WHS General Induction Certificate (White Card)
- A valid MR or HR class driver’s licence
- Traffic control qualifications (preferred but not essential)
