Role Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable cleaners to support the upkeep of a school environment in the Nowra area. This is a casual opportunity suited to professionals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation within educational facilities.
You will play a key role in ensuring students and staff operate in a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of classrooms, offices, and communal areas
- Sanitising high-touch surfaces and amenities
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors across school buildings
- Restocking consumables where required
- Waste removal and bin management
- Ensuring cleaning standards align with site compliance requirements
- Reporting maintenance or safety issues as identified
What We’re Looking For
- Proven cleaning experience (school or commercial environments highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and consistent work quality
- Ability to work independently and follow site protocols
- Professional presentation and communication skills
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) (essential)
